» If you are a scientist/entrepreneur with a great commercialisable idea in life sciences which requires further
R&D, please send us a proposal.
» Proposals would be selected based on their innovation merit, sustainability and marketability of the
product/ service.
 
How to be a part of LSI
Please submit a proposal to us covering the following points for consideration by a technical expert
committee and the IKP Knowledge Park Board:
 
Details of Incubatee Company
» Name, address and legal status of company (if registered)
» Area and particulars of research programme to be carried out
» Founding members and their backgrounds
» Management Team
» Key scientists
» Background of Promoters - individuals/institutions/ companies
» Involvement of promoters
» Broad business plan
» Means of funding
 
Involvement of LSI
» Incubation facility required
 
» Lab unit (chemistry/ biolab)
» Period of lease
» Likely timeframe for occupation
» Number of staff likely to be positioned
» Major R & D equipment to be installed if any
» Effluents that are likely to be generated with reference to quality and quantity, and their handling, bio-risks, gene containment facilities (if relevant) and commitment of compliance within the rule of the law, especially that of the state regulatory authorities
» Apart from infrastructure facility, where else can LSI help you and how?
 
» Networking
» Mentoring
» Assistance in business plan

How to be a part of IKP Knowledge Park
Please submit a proposal to us covering the following points for consideration by a
technical expert committee and the IKP Knowledge Park Board.

» Areas and broad particulars of research programmes to be carried out at IKP
» Requirement of space, period of lease, and likely time frame for occupation
» Broad business plan
» Brief description of activities and operations of promoter institutions / companies including Annual Report / Balance Sheet etc.
» Means of funding
» Number of staff likely to be positioned at the R&D centre
» Major R&D facilities to be installed
» Effluents that are likely to be generated with reference to quality and quantity, and their handling,
bio-risks, gene containment facilities (if relevant) and commitment of compliance within
the rule of the law, especially that of the state regulatory authorities
» Any other relevant information
 
Comments from the Technical Committee are expected within 3 weeks. The Committee reserves the right
to select or reject an application and may request for additional inputs if necessary. On clearance by the
Technical Committee, a draft Lease Agreement is sent to the applicant for their perusal. The Lease Agreement
signed between the two parties has to be registered. The Lessee bears all costs of registration.
